DIEN CHAN ZONE FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY
Multireflexology Dien Chan practice was founded in Saigon, Vietnam, by Professor Bùi Quốc Châu back in 1980. He discovered a new set of mapping patterns on our faces to help connect to the different systems of the body from questioning the root of acupuncture meridians and points. Over several years, he developed a new therapeutic method for use on the face aimed to help improve health and balance holistically.
Instead of continuing to use acupuncture needles to incite the chi flow of healing needed to balance the energies in a person’s body, facial reflexology tools were born. There are so many techniques on the market now but reflexology tools have their own story and character.
Dien Chan Zone® was further developed by Italian reflexologist Beatrice Moricolli at the International Academy of Italian Facial Reflexology in Milan over past 25 years. DCZ® uses simpler reflex zones (and certain points) to decipher personalised points of interest for each individual receiver. The maps are all simple and intuitive, easy to remember and applied one at a time.
I first encounter Dien Chan Zone® when I search for more information about facial reflexology. Helen Black (helen.black.com) is the only teacher offering Dien Chan Zone® internationally. Beauty of facial reflexology is that you can perform it on yourselfe as face is easily accessible. I use and all operators are encouraged to use DCZ® On themselves. It is important you attend to your own wellbeing in order to share it with others. I studied with Helen in October and Novmebr 2018 when I became DCZ® operator.
DCZ® Works on zones that are associatied with all body sytems. It may support you with :
* musculo-skeletal pain
* female reproductive system dysfunctions such as irregular periods, endometriosis, infertility, PMS & menopausal symptoms.
* headaches & migraines
* digestive issues including constipation
* urinary system dysfunctions
* circulatory system dysfunctions
* stress related conditions
DCZ® Facial reflexology can be completed on its own as a 30 minutes treatment or in conjuction with acupresure points and gua sha jade tool lymphdrainage - 60 minutes treatment.
FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY BERGMAN METHOD
Facial reflexology focuses on reflex (pressure) points on the face, which helps to stimulate the body's healing mechanism and help improve circulation and nerve conduction, encouraging the release of toxins from the body via lymphatic system.
I studied facial reflexology with Ziggi Bergman, acclaimed reflexologist who in the past 20 years has developed The Bergman Method which is based on the Zone therapy. Zone therapy uses the whole body including the face. Facial reflexology is currently used to treat common conditions and relieve pain in many Native American tribes. Facial reflexology uses a compression techniques to stimulate reflex points in which the thumb or fingers apply pressure and also walk over a zone in a caterpillar motion.
The face provides a beautiful and precise tool to read what is going on within the body's internal organs, central nervous system and neuro-biological systems. The face's close proximity to the brain and cranial nerves makes facial reflexology very powerful in reaching the body's systems.
The treatment starts with cleansing and application of a hot towel, facial oil is then applied and facial reflexology sequence is completed. Every treatment includes lymphatic drainage of the face and eyes using guasha tool.

I had my first experience of facial reflexology with Michaela this week. She was lovely and the treatment was so relaxing, I literally felt that I had melted into the couch and slept incredibly well later that night! I will definitely be booking more sessions.

ZONE FACE LIFT
Sarah Vine, beauty editor of Daily Mail, described Ziggi Bergman’s Zone Face Lift as "a contender for London's best facial." It works primarily by freeing constrictions both within the facial muscles and in the connective tissue. the quality of touch, mindful techniques and flowing movements makes this an extraordinary treatment.
ZFL also uses facial guasha tool. It is a jade tool that has been used since ancient times that helps to massage, smooth and scape the skin to release stagnation, toxins, improve lymph drainage and reduce muscle tension.
* helps to relax overtight muscles
* tightens and tones the skin of the face and neck
* improves blood flow into muscle tissues keeping them functioning well, tone and maintaining their elasticity
* reduces puffiness and breaks localized fatty deposits
* loosens scar tissue
* help to deeply relax you face and body
* support lymph drainage of the face and neck

I went to try the treatment with view that it won’t be effective. I was looking forward to taking care of my face and some well deserved relaxation.
But I was pleasantly surprised. Professional facial care, nice atmosphere and visible result. I’m very pleased.

Michaela's Zone Face Lift is an absolutely fantastic treatment. I presented with tired eyes from night shifts & general busy life stress, within minutes I was fully relaxed (which usually doesn't come easy to me). My skin after the treatment felt and looked lifted & bright especially around my eyes and as an added bonus that I wasn't expecting, my neck & shoulders felt relaxed.
Michaela tailor's the products and techniques used to suit the individual, focusing on their individual problematic areas. Her knowledge of the subject is huge.
I definitely recommend this treatment to all, could be a fabulous gift for someone too!
